Beginning September 16th, Champaign Park District and Busey Bank will begin collecting gently used Halloween costumes for kids in the community. You can bring donations to any Champaign Park District facility or Busey Bank branch. They will take donations through October 18th.
On October 19th, from 10 a.m. to noon, folks can come “shop” for a free costume at Douglass Community Center.
Seems like a worthwhile use for any of those old costumes still hanging out in your closets.
