Thanks to the combined forces of the Urbana Public Arts Program and the Urbana Free Library, kids five years and older can get hands-on art-making experience at two upcoming Young Artist’s Studio events.
On Sunday, January 27, future artists will join local artist ElizaBeth Simpson for collage-making from 3 to 4 p.m. Simpson will guide participants through the process while allowing for lots of room for kids to explore their own imaginations.
On Sunday, February 3, local artist Marc-Anthony Macon will guide kids through the adventure of improvisational art-making from 3 to 4 p.m.
Both events are free and open to the public, with all art supplies provided. Learn more about this and other public arts programs here.
