If you’re a fan of beer and gazing at the stars, check out the first-ever Astronomy on Tap this Thursday the 18th from 6-7 p.m. The event will take place in Pizza M‘s back room.
This series gives people the chance to discuss the big questions in the Universe with professional astronomers over pizza and beer. It is a monthly series will begin with a brief and accessible explanation of a profound concept, a description of the latest scientific findings, and then a community discussion with ample opportunities for questions and answers. This event is hosted by the University of Illinois Department of Astronomy. Everyone is welcome to this free event.
