The Champaign Center Parntership has annoucned a new series that will show you what Champaign businesses feel and look like on the inside, with a new behind the scenes series: It’s A Champaign Life: Business Backstage Series.
They’ll start with Weiskamp Screen Printing next Tuesday, October 20th from 6-7:30 p.m., and refreshments will be provided by MIGA.

The Champaign Center Partnership and the members of our Public Image Committee are thrilled to announce a new interactive promotion called It’s A Champaign Life: Business Backstage Series.
Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of some of our local businesses? Are there businesses you’ve walked or driven by but have never actually visited? Business Backstage is a series of open houses that give the community a peek “backstage” at some of our local businesses they may be unfamiliar with. You’ll have the chance to hear their story, meet their staff and learn about what they do through a FREE hands-on class or demonstration.
Kicking off this new series is Downtown member, Weiskamp Screen Printing, hosting a t-shirt screen printing class on Tuesday, October 20th from 6-7:30 p.m.
Participants will tour the Weiskamp facility and learn about the craft of screen printing. Participants will also get the chance to get their hands dirty and learn how to screen print their own t-shirt they can take home!
Refreshments will be provided and downtown member, Miga, is donating bottles of wine for this event.
Participation is free, however space is very limited and registration is required. You can register at champaigncenter.comby clicking on the Business Backstage image on the homepage. Include your t-shirt size in the registration form.
