Champaign Surplus coloring contest raised $610 for Champaign County Forest Preserves

To help celebrate Earth Day, Champaign Surplus hosted a coloring contest for kids. The contest asked local children to color in a template provided and turn them in to Champaign Surplus for a chance to win a number of prizes. For every submission, the store donated $5 to the Champaign Country Forest Preserve District. After receiving 122 submissions, Champaign Surplus ended up donating $610.

The submissions are currently displayed on one of the walls in the store and you can see the winner and runners-up submissions here.
