Elsinore’s Yes Yes Yes album seems like it would be a soundtrackers dream, filled with evocative vocals and tension-releasing crescendos. So it’s a bit surprising that it’s taken this long for someone in the “industry” to take notice of the locally released album. But television finally figured it out as the song “Yes Yes Yes” showed up on last night’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance.
The show’s sound editors perfectly match the words “Yes Yes Yes” to fit with the end of show winners montage. Though to be nitpicky, this sort of plays like a cruel joke as we can clearly hear Mr. Ryan Groff say “that’s not the answer you’ll get”. Better luck next time, Hollywood.
