IlliniPundit’s “wayward in McLean County” (is that redundant? j/k) posted a very informative item overnight about Judge James Souk. How many folks can say that they’ve:
- withheld evidence as a prosector that led to a wrongful murder conviction?
- somehow ascended to the position of judge?
- developed a reputation for dozing off on the bench?
- granted unsupervised visitation to a man who later killed both his sons and himself?
I’d say that’s a full career already. Take the rest of your term off, why don’t you, Judge Souk; you’ve done enough
