The Small Business Development Center at the Champaign County Economic Development Corporation is offering a free webinar with Adonis Fuller, the City of Champaign’s Purchasing/Compliance Specialist, on September 21st from 10 to 11 a.m. Fuller will be giving an overview of the city’s Diversity Advancement Program, which “encourages City departments, contractors, and other vendors doing business with the City to increase the amount of goods and services provided by local businesses owned by minorities, women, and other socially and economically disadvantaged groups.”
There will be a presentation, followed by a Q&A. The meeting will be recorded for later viewing. Vendors who are interested in participating can RSVP here, and will be sent a confirmation email with info on how to join the meeting.
