This will be the third year for The Great ARTdoors, a collaboration between 40 North, Spurlock Museum, Champaign Park District, Urbana Park District, and Urbana Arts and Culture Program. Eleven local artists will be awarded $1000 to create a piece that will be displayed in a park or community garden.
Proposals are due by midnight on March 21st, and artists will be notified the week of March 28th. Installation will begin May 23rd, and the work will be on display through October.
Artists must live or work in Champaign County.
