A new exhibit opens in the Illini Union Art Gallery on February 2nd

The Illini Union Art Gallery showcases work from all types of artists — some who are affiliated with U of I, some who are local, and some from outside of C-U. This month, the gallery will feature work from Anjelica Jones and Isabelle Dizon in an exhibit titled “Sunkissed Sonder“. Jones is a junior in Sound Design and Technology, and Dixon is a junior in Graphic Design. According to the artists, the exhibit about “the importance of seeing women who look like us in the world around us,” and “exploring and celebrating what it means to be a minority through our eyes.” 

There will be an opening reception on February 2nd from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Illini Union Art Gallery is free and open to all.
