Queering Faith launched in 2018 as a collaboration UCC Campus Ministry of UIUC, Illini Hillel Foundation, the UP Center, and the University YMCA, as a way to bring all discourse, emotion, and connotations that surround the words “queer” and “faith” into a space where they can be explored. It’s become an annual series hosted by UCC Campus Ministry, and the sixth version of the event is happening this Friday, February 10th, beginning at 7 p.m.

The event will feature keynote speaker Matthias Roberts, speaking on the topic “Moving Beyond Sexual Shame”. Roberts is a queer psychotherapist, podcaster, and author. Queering Faith is free and open to the public, and you can attend in person at Community United Church of Christ, or over Zoom. Register here to receive the Zoom link.
