Learn some Ukranian recipes in Common Ground’s next virtual cooking class

Sign up for Common Ground Food Co-op’s next cooking class, and you will have the opportunity to make:

  • Borscht Soup: a deliciously colorful vegetable soup with beets, celery, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, and tomatoes with dill and a dollop of sour cream
  • Pirozhki: a fluffy, savory pastry made with our Co-op’s homemade pizza dough stuffed with sauteed cabbage, boiled local eggs, and onion
  • Buckwheat Kasha: roasted and braised buckwheat with mushrooms, onions, broth, and parsley

The class will be March 11th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. over Zoom, with meal kit pick up on March 10th from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Flatlander Classroom. Register and pay on the Common Ground website. Your $40 fee includes all of the ingredients you need.
