The iSchool’s Annual Children’s Book Sale is April 23rd

The Center for Children’s Books (CCB), located at the School of Information Sciences (iSchool) at the University of Illinois, is hosting its 21st Annual Book Sale on Sunday, April 23, 202, with a pre-sale on Saturday, April 22nd. CCB, which recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, is a reference and resource center for librarians, scholars, parents, and teachers. The Center is described as “a crossroads for critical inquiry, professional training, and educational outreach related to youth-focused resources, literature, and librarianship.”

The sale will include thousands of brand-new fiction and non-fiction books for ages 0-18. Available titles will include everything from board books to chapter books, series fiction, novels, activity books, mass-market paperbacks and more. Books will range in price from $1-$5, with other items priced as marked. All proceeds benefit the Center for Children’s Books and The Bulletin of The Center for Children’s Books, a review journal for youth literature.
