The C-U Prom giveaway is back for the second year. Organized by Mike Ingram, the prom shop will be open Friday from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. with additional dates potentially available. They currently have over 500 prom dresses, shoes, bags, jewelry, and men’s wear available for free for students looking for a prom outfit. This event is an amazing opportunity for students to find something special, and the staff really go above and beyond to give these kids the best experience possible. Last month we told you about the opportunity to donate dresses and even though the main event is here, dresses and other items can still be dropped off at Farren’s Pub or the shop at 1422 S. Neil Street. Any left over dresses will be donated to local organizations.
