This past Friday, March 6th marked the 20th installment of Unofficial St. Patrick’s Day on the U of I campus. The below freezing temperatures did little to stop students and visitors from partaking in the festivities. Local law enforcement, along with medical responders, were present throughout the day to help ensure public safety. Started in 1996, the “holiday” is celebrated two weeks before spring break.
