After endorsing “nobody” for President of the United States in the 2016 election race, The News-Gazette has endorsed Joe Biden in 2020 over Donald Trump. The announcement came today, just a few days after their endorsement of Betsy Dirksen Londrigan against Rodney Davis. You can see all of their endorsements for more races here and here as well.
Because it has a bit of local relevance, can’t hurt to mention once again that Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, used to live here in Champaign-Urbana.
Editor’s Note: I failed to mention another set of endorsements from N-G, which was their Champaign County goverment selections. Thanks to a couple of readers who pointed this out to us.
