The Urbana Business Association and the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Association are delighted to announce the 3rd Annual Uncork Urbana Wine Festival. Taking place June 18 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the festival is a chance for wine lovers and enthusiasts to gather for a day of wine, music and food.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample wines from up to 15 different vineyards, all located within Illinois’ borders. Attendees may also purchase wine by the glass or bottle.
“Uncork is an exciting event that allows us to bring the Champaign-Urbana community together to sample wine, listen to great local bands and try an array of foods.”—Paris Blalock, executive director of the UBA.
Uncork Urbana will take place in the Busey Bank parking lot, located at the corner of Main and Race Streets. Admission is $15, which provides the attendee with a commemorative tasting glass (while supplies last) and 5 tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase. This event is for ages 21 and over.
