I realize these recordings have been around for quite some time, but there are some of you who might not know it. This is the kind of wormhole that is fun to go down every once in a while — recordings of concerts.
Many of them are from Canopy Club, and if you search by tags (cities, venues, genres, etc) you can dive in a bit more.
Explosions in the Sky at Pygmalion 2011. The Walkmen from 2011. Just dozens and dozens of shows. Some of them date back to the early 2000s, Smashing Pumpkins from 2000, this Umphrey’s McGee recording from 2001, or even everyone’s favorite wannabe beach bum Jack Johnson from 2002.
