All signs point to Rayvonte Rice returning this evening for Illinois against Michigan. Earlier this afternoon the Decatur Herald and Review‘s Mark Tupper tweeted about a tip from a “source.”
Unnamed “sources” are sketchy, but Tupper is a veteran Illini beat writer, so it at least had some credibility.
The better indicator came when Rice himself tweeted this:
Which was followed up by this Instagram post:
So looks like tonight’s game will indeed feature Rice for the first time since January 3rd.
