One of the things I know about nonprofit organizations, is that sometimes they have very specific but necessary tasks for volunteers to complete. The Idea Store has one of those needs. They are looking for folks who are sort of knowledgeable about yarn-related things to help with their yarn section in the store: sorting, pricing, stocking, etc.
I know this community has some prolific knitters. Maybe this is a job for you! If it is, you can email [email protected] or swing by the store for a volunteer application.
