Morgan McCammon will play in the USA vs. College All-Star Wheelchair Basketball Competition at Women’s Final Four

U of I wheelchair basketball athlete Morgan McCammon was selected to participate in the first USA vs. College All-Star Wheelchair Basketball Competition, which will take place at during the NCAA Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Final Four in Dallas this weekend. The competition will bring Paralympic athletes who competed for Team USA in Tokyo and college athletes from each of the six women’s wheelchair basketball collegiate programs in the U.S. together in an effort to raise awareness about adaptive sports.

From McCammon: “I am thrilled to be representing the University of Illinois and the NWBA at the Final Four event as we share our sport with the world! Wheelchair basketball has given me the opportunity to conquer dreams I thought I had lost, and I am beyond excited to share my experiences and knowledge with those who are just learning about the sport and the next generation of NWBA athletes.”
