Oddly Eazy on Electric Tuesdays

Electric Tuesdays feature open decks, this week with The Shade Collective. At 10 p.m. dance to the Producer/DJ Duo Tim & Kevin, performing as Oddly Eazy.

Editor’s Pick: Mateo Sanchez Big Band Master’s Recital

UIUC Music Building Auditorium // FREE // 7:30 p.m.

Professional jazz musician Mateo Sanchez and his 17-piece band perform Big Band and Jazz compositions arranged from a drummer’s perspective. The music is entirely Mateo’s own arrangements and compositions.

Vintage Pistol is a high-energy jam band based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The band is composed of five members and describes itself as a roots rock band that draws inspiration from new-age blues, jam rock, and classic rock.

Americana Happy Hour ft. Beth Bombara

The Rose Bowl Tavern // FREE (Tips in Bucket) // 5 p.m.

Beth Bombara is a St. Louis-based artist whose genre-bending music packs a punch. Combining folk, blues, and rock with introspective lyrics, gritty guitar work, and a dynamic voice, her music is a burst of powerful expression.

Kickoff the Boneyard Arts Festival at The Recreation Club with Chicago post-punk, art rockers Ovef Ow performing live with local punk band Sweetmelk supporting.

Mid-October is an alternative/indie duo who come from diverse musical backgrounds, allowing them to find the vibe of any crowd and play music to entertain them.

Gable Price and Friends is a 4-piece alternative rock and roll band from Northern California, comprised of 3 Midwesterners and a Californian, known for their sentimental and provocative lyrics, screaming guitars, and driving drums. They recently signed with Capitol CMG and are eager to share their new record and continue providing a euphoric live and recorded experience to their growing fanbase.
