Joy Yang Presents

Hard rock band Buckcherry is stopping by The Castle Theatre with support from No Resolve.

The Urbana Hootenanny

Every Monday at the Rose Bowl, come hang out with some great musicians. A sort of open mic meets song share, you can expect a variety of music and performers.

The Duke of Elvintones

Brian Stark, Andrey Goncalves, Paul Mock, and Mateo Sanchez make up this group of jazz all stars, playing high-energy hard bop.

Hobnob String Band

Rose Bowl Tavern // free // 7:30 p.m.

Hobnob String Band brings you some great acoustic music, from blues to bluegrass and other styles. Catch some great harmonies, and of course some wonderful fingerpicking.

WEDNESDAY, March 15th

Incredible trumpeter Jeff Helgesen performs at the Rose Bowl with some jazzy friends, bringing you hard bop of the 1960s. 

The Blues Deacons

The blues outfit from Gibson City are hitting Huber’s. Playing originals as well as blues classics, come by and “let the blues ease on into your soul.”

If you’re looking for some family fun on Saturday, look no further than the Champaign Public Library, where Babaloo will be bringing his zany, high-energy musical comedy.

New Twang City

Huber’s // free // 7 p.m.

Some good ole country honky tonk, you’re in for a night of fun at Huber’s with New Twang City.

Dom Flemons has played C-U a few times, and each time has been great. He is a Grammy winning songwriter, musical historian, and more. He is truly a treat, and if you’ve never seen him before, I highly recommend.

CATsNAP Benefit Concert

Champaign cat shelter CATsNAP is hosting a fundraiser featuring some wonderful musical guests, including Church Street Ramblers, the Peter Tijerina Quintet, the Fiddle-Sax Fusion Band, the Tania Arazi Coambs Trio, and more.

Kilborn Alley Blues Band

Loose Cobra // free // 3 p.m.

What better way to close a weekend than with some blues? Head to Tolono on Sunday to hear Kilborn Alley play some tasty tunes.
