Acid jazz guitarist Charlie Hunter has long been a fixture on the jam circuit, performing in Garage a Trois and with Primus/Ratdog drummer Jay Lane. Tonight, he performs as a duo with drummer Derrek Phillips. Expect some fireworks to come off of his custom-built seven and eight string guitars.

The third installment in the Highdive sumer punk series will also double as a CD release and breakup show for Leonard Hatred (free copies of their debut full-length will be available at the show). Power violence group Smoke Coke, thrashers We Must Dismantle All This!, and hardcore group Adult Books (featuring members of Easter and Maltross) round out the night.

Santah celebrate a re-release of White Noise Bed (review from the first time here) with New Ruins and the Leadership. Vinyl copies will be available for those who’ve been jonesing.

 

WHAT: Dibiase, Alpha Mile, Redleg

WHERE: Mike ‘N Molly’s ($TBA)

WHEN: Saturday, June 18th at 9:00 p.m.

Saturday brings a night of heavier things to the beer garden. Dibiase bring their patented brand of noise from St. Louis, while Redleg are of the locally grown variety. Alpha Mile, featuring Hum’s Tim Lash, continue to play the occasional show.
