Champaign County – 40 North | 88 West, the Champaign County Arts Council, has reinvented their annual fundraiser with 40 North UNTITLED, a one-of-a-kind, late-night event on February 28th at the Orpheum Theatre. Celebrating the arts of Champaign County and 40 North’s mission of cultivating creativity, this engaging and interactive evening will bring together art lovers, supporters, and the general public for a night of artful entertainment. As the sole 40 North fundraising event of the year, the proceeds from the night will benefit 40 North and its programs including the Boneyard Arts Festival, ACE Awards, the Eric Show, Friday Night Live, Sky Gallery, MTD ART, and more.
Guests of this late-evening event can expect a variety of live performances combined with DJ and dancing for an energetic and vibrant atmosphere. They will have the opportunity to bid on a painting that Langston Allston will be creating throughout the evening. They will indulge in a French crepe dessert bar, delicious pastry shoppe collection, complimentary cocktail bar, local craft beer, and specialty coffee drinks. An interactive, custom screen-printed t-shirt sale from Weiskamp Screen Printing will be on hand for guests to select from unique designs to support art and creativity in Champaign County. Additional fundraising opportunities include an original art sale featuring local artists, a Wine Wall raffle and much more!
“Art, it any form, is something to be celebrated by all walks of life,” states Kelly White, Executive Director of 40 North. “We wanted to make this event engaging and accessible so that a larger part of the community can embrace and celebrate the importance of fostering creativity in Champaign County. We believe this event will be an ideal way to showcase how 40 North is making Champaign County a better place to live and work through arts and culture.”
Attendees of the event are encouraged to dine at any of the following restaurants before 40 North UNTITLED, and 20% of the your bill (excluding alcohol) will be donated to 40 North and its programs: Farren’s Pub & Eatery, Big Grove Tavern, Esquire Lounge and Wedge Tequila Bar & Grill.
