The Illinois Department of Commerce launched an emergency grant program for hospitality businesses in the state. Businesses applied for the funding, then were selected by a random lottery. Bars and restaurants will receive an average of $14,000 in grant money, and hotels around $30,000. You can read more about the program here. Five C-U businesses received grant money:
