Allerton Park and Retreat Center announced today that they will be opening the remainder of their outdoor areas, with added guidelines. After closing for a short time, they opened trails on the South side of the park, now their popular gardens will be open to the public.
The Visitor’s Center, Greenhouse Cafe, and Mansion remained closed. There will be a restroom available, that will be cleaned multiple times a day. You will need to bring your own water, and either take your trash with you or dispose of it in one of the dumpsters near the Main lot or Visitor’s Center lot.
You still need to follow social distancing guidelines, and refrain from congregating in groups, and masks are encouraged.
