The kick-off event for this year’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Champaign County will be held tonight (Tuesday, Jan. 31), and anyone interested in participating or helping is encouraged to attend.
It will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Champaign County Extension Office, 801 N. Country Fair Drive, C, and include information about the relay and cancer society mission, a mini-relay, story-teller Camille Born, refreshments and opportunities to win prizes. The cancer society is encouraging people attending to come dressed as their favorite superheroes.
