Parked in front of the News-Gazette building today was Pop Stop, a new “drink” truck serving up all sorts of great stuff like Cream Soda, Lime Rickey, shaved ice, and home made popcorn.
Owner Matthew Dick grew up here in Champaign and he’s recently just opened the Pop Shop and is planning on setting up daily in Downtown Champaign from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m and then on campus in the evenings.
It was a little early in the day for me for a Lime Rickey, but I can see it happening very very soon. Lime Rickey rules.
