United Way of Champaign County has opened their application for 2023’s Emerging Community Leader cohort. They are looking for young professionals in the community who are interested in taking part in the free development program that provides education on how to become more involved in the nonprofit sector through volunteerism.
Those who are selected will attend a monthly two hour session from April to October, with added time spend on a team project, and will also have the opportunity to volunteer and attend social events. If you are someone who works for the University of Illinois, there is a specific cohort with sessions located on campus: ECL Illinois.
The application is available on the United Way website, and it is due March 10th. Interested folks are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
