Autistic License at Cafe Kopi

Cafe Kopi, a coffee house in downtown Champaign, regularly hosts art shows in its two spacious rooms. They often have the space to rotate 2-3 artists at one time, for periods of 6-8 weeks each.

Through the month of November — held over from October, as the flyer above states — they will feature a group show “Autistic License” with works by local, non-local, and overseas artists. All artwork is donated and sales will benefit The Autism Program of Illinois. (Cafe Kopi never takes a percentage of artist sales.) Several media are displayed, including watercolor, sculpture, airbrush, stencils, acrylic, and more.

The cafe wants to thank local watercolor artist Carol Farnum for organizing the event, which involved networking, prepping pieces for display, and international shipping in some cases. Kopi is open 7 days, 7 a.m.-12 a.m. (midnight), at 109 N. Walnut, Champaign.
