Yesterday’s positive announcement about COVID-19 vaccine supply from the Biden administration is good news. Here in Champaign County, vaccination rollout has been more streamlined than in other places. As supply goes up and eligible groups expand, you can check for vaccine appointments through Carle and Walgreens:
- If you are a Carle patient, check for available appointments through MyCarle. Otherwise, put yourself on the callback list.
- You can also check availibilty at Walgreens. Anecdotally, it seems like you should refresh or check a few times a day, as appointments become available at different times. You will need a Walgreens account to make an appointment — the process is really easy, so perhaps do that in between refreshing the browser.
