One of the many marvelous things that C-U Public Health does, is give out free period supplies to those who need them as well as partner agencies who can get them in the hands of those who need them. They’ve given out over 10,000 items since the summer, and their stock is now quite low. If you feel so inclined to help them out in this way, they have an Amazon wishlist that you can use to donate.
While you’re here, there are a couple of articles about the importance of period equity from NPR and Harvard Health Publishing. I am thankful that CUPHD is doing their part to makes these necessary (and expensive) items accessible.
