Tomorrow night, Feb. 1, Mayor Don Gerard will spend “One Winter Night” sleeping in a cardboard box in Downtown Champaign. He’s doing this to support C-U at Home, the Champaign-Urbana chapter of the national organization that works to house and support our community’s “most vulnerable and long-term homeless individuals and families.”
The temperature tomorrow will drop to 15 degrees. Yes, our mayor is hard core.
