Camp Monarch is a new camp for students with dyslexia

The East Central IL Decoding Dyslexia group has created a new summer camp for students with dyslexia and reading disabilities. The camp is for kids aged 7-14, and will include one-on-one reading instruction, small group writing, and small group math instruction, as well as social-emotional learning to help students understand their neurodiversity.

There will be two 2-week sessions at Parkland College, June 20-30 and July 11-21. Students are encouraged to attend both sessions. Scholarships are available for those with demonstrated financial and academic need.

You can register online or by calling 217-351-2235.
