Colin Dobson, University of Illinois grad and president of the Champaign County Audubon Society, has written and published a book called Field Guide to Hotspots and Birds in Illinois. You can celebrate the book launch from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Illini Union Bookstore on Wednesday, June 21st.
Dobson will be in attendance, and I’m sure will share plenty of tips for finding the most interesting and elusive birds.
