On Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m., you listen to some retro music while enjoying food and drinks on North Street in Uptown Normal. Medici, a solid restaurant that I’ve visited a few times, is hosting Medici on The Rocks. They’ll have food, beer, and craft cocktails, and there will be live music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Yes, I referred to 90s music as retro. As much as this pains me, it is reality. Here’s the musical lineup:
- MVM, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. (70s music)
- RetroFit, 6 to 7:15 p.m. (80s music)
- Kill the Martian, 7:45 to 9:45 p.m. (90s music)
There’s a $7 cover (cash only), and that will go to support the work of Bloomington Pub Club Rotary.
