Typically when a family is moving into a new Habitat home, the vast majority of the community is not going to show up at their door for the dedication. Now, in COVID world, Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County is doing a virtual dedication for the new home of Shayonna Reid. If you want to see the happy occasion of someone moving into a new home, this is a great opportunity.
They will be streaming the dedication, featuring remarks from Reid, Pastor Rickey E. Parks from Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, and Chad Hoffman, Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County’s Executive Director, on YouTube beginning at 5:30 p.m.
