Common Ground is teaming up with Sola Gratia for their September cooking class

Homemade corn tortillas topped with seasoned black beans, roasted sweet potatoes and bell peppers, and garnished with local queso fresco, cilantro, and red cabbage; homemade salsa; cilantro lime crema, ensalada with salted red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, lime, and cilantro; and blistered shishito peppers.

You will make all of these delightful sounding things if you sign up for Common Ground Food Co-op’s Summer Harvest cooking class on September 23rd. The virtual class will be from 3 to 5 p.m., and will be led by Sarah Buckman and Liz Sands.

The meal kit is $40, and should be preordered on the Common Ground website. Kit pick up is September 22nd from 4 to 6 p.m. The proceeds will benefit Sola Gratia Farm. You can read more about their work and big expansion in our article from earlier this month.
