Common Ground is covering all the breakfast bases with it’s NEW line of Breakfast Sandwiches! Launching Monday morning (3/28) these sandwiches are made with local eggs and bacon, fresh Pekara sourdough bagels, and for vegetarians, house-made seitan. If bagels aren’t your thing, they have hot steel cut oatmeal every morning for $1.29 a cup. In the deli case they recently launched a new line of gluten free muffins, vegan scones, and absolutely delicious cinnamon rolls. Be sure to grab a cup coffee and healthy snack for later.

If you’re doing extra shopping, they have started donating an additional 10 cents to the Round Up Organization for every time you remember to bring your reusable bags. If half of their weekly shoppers utilize this, it would add $1200 a month for these organizations. April’s Round Up for Good organization is Prosperity Gardens. By choosing to round up to the nearest dollar, Common Ground shoppers have been donating 3 to 4 thousand dollars a month, adding this sustainable initiative could push this past five thousand dollars! What a cool way to give back and be environmentally friendly, all while getting your groceries.
