What is a Board Match Expo? It’s honestly a really smart idea. They’ve gathered up representatives from a number of nonprofit organizations in Champaign-Urbana, that focus on all sorts of different causes, to come together at the Champaign Public Library on September 19th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Then it will be sort of a Quad Day for people interested in serving on a nonprofit board. From Bluestem Nature School to The Land Connection to Twin City Theatre Company to YWCA of Champaign County — all in all there will be 19 organizations — there is surely one that you are passionate about lending your time and talents to. You can find the full list of participating groups on the CFECI website.

If you are one of the first 100 people to arrive, you’ll get a door prize. Hooray for free stuff!
