If you are the leader, development person, or board member for a nonprofit, Building Endowments 101 on October 10th at 1 p.m. will address two questions: what is an endowment, and should we have one? From the event description:

In this first session, learn how to assess your organization’s readiness to establish an endowment. Also, consider what infrastructure is required to manage and administer an endowment to support your organization over a set time frame or indefinitely.

This is part one of a two part series, that will be continued on November 7th with Building Endowments 201. Both events will take place at the Champaign Public Library and are free to attend. You can reserve your spot for the first session here, and the second session here.
