Dancing does help you get LAIT

LAIT, the Laboratory for Audience Interactive Technologies, is an app available for both iOS and through Google Play, and DanceIllinois is creating programming for it to augment a performance happening this weekend.

LAIT director John Toenjes and guest artist Chad Michael Hall are collaborating to bring a fully-interactive dance/theatrical experience called Interface:Critical Mass. While the performance is free, it does have an opportunity cost: you have to find some room on your mobile device to download the app, so it can deliver real-time broadcasts and make use of projections while you watch the production.

Show up at the Colwell Playhouse inside KCPA, before 7 p.m. on either Friday April 8th or Saturday April 9th for the type of event you can expect from a city on the cutting edge of both art and technology.
