Dial-a-Carol is back; it begins December 12th

Dial-a-Carol is a storied tradition at the University of Illinois, and it’s back for its 59th year.

Beginning in 1960 at Snyder Hall, student volunteers now field thousands of calls with requests for carols every year. This year’s Dial-a-Carol runs December 12-18, and operates 24 hours a day. Good information to know if you are up at 3 a.m. and need to hear a little “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey (they actually track how many times this song is requested on their “Mariah Meter”).
