Dive into the history of witchcraft with the Rare Book and Manuscript Library

We are in the thick of spooky season and all that goes along with it, but a lot the elements that we celebrate and decorate our lawns with are rooted in history. The Rare Book and Manuscript Library is ready to dig into some of that history on October 26th at 4:30 p.m. with a discussion of witchcraft in early modern Europe.

Hysteria: Tracing Early Modern Witchcraft is a virtual event, so you can light some candles and snuggle in with a nice beverage as you listen to RBML curators Cait Coker and Ruthann Mowry. Register ahead of time to receive the Zoom link. It’s free, and open to all.
