Do you have your tickets for Oktoberfest?

Oktoberfest is an annual fundraising event for the Developmental Services Center in Champaign, and it’s also a really, really good time. This year’s event is happening September 30th, from 3 to 10 p.m., in Downtown Champaign. Right now, you can snag your tickets online so that you don’t have to fuss with it when you get there.

There are several different options, from just a single general admission ticket for $10 to reserving a table of eight for $250. You can also get individual and family packages that include admission, food and drink tickets, and a commemorative stein.

Smith Burger and Watson’s will be there serving German-style food, and there will be beer from Triptych, Blind Pig, and Riggs, as well as various German beers. The Ice Daddy truck will be there with shaved ice and ice cream.

The beginning of the event is more kid-friendly, with a kid zone from 3 to 6 p.m. In the evening there will be music from Die Musikmeisters and The Polkaholics.

Be sure to check out Alyssa’s recap of last year’s event to get a taste of what to expect.
