The Breastfeeding Peer Counselor program at Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is hosting a donation drive for breastfeeding supplies, in honor of National Breastfeeding Month. They are looking for these items, sealed in original packaging:
- Nursing pads, pillows, and covers
- Breast milk storage bags
- Electric or manual breast pumps and accessories
- Self-care items (lotions, hand sanitizers, makeup remover wipes, etc.).
You can purchase these items from their Amazon wishlist, or drop them off at the WIC desk in Champaign (201 Kenyon Road) or Rantoul (520 E Wabash Ave # 2).
