Easter’s Demonstration coming to vinyl in celebration of 10 year anniversary

Easter‘s Demonstration is coming to vinyl after a decade of existence.

Though Kyle Lang did release a few singles surrounding Demonstration, the EP remains the only release of its kind in his catalog to date. The album sat atop our list of best local albums from 2011, and in the top 25 of our albums of the decade feature.

You can pre-order a vinyl copy of Demonstration here, as the release is set for April 16th, 2021, exactly 10 years from the original release date in 2011.

Beloved brings you the long overdue vinyl release of Easter’s Demonstration. Originally released on April 16th, 2011, Demonstration was the debut and only EP from Kyle Lang under the Easter name. After releasing music throughout his teenage years as Pontow, Lang began a new phase of his music career with this introspective project. Demonstration was released to acclaim in a buzzing suburban Chicago music scene that spawned the careers of artists such as Ratboys and Nnamdï. In the eyes of many, Demonstration was the magnum opus of the era. Kyle Lang now makes music as Special Death.
