Saturday, May 7th, 2016 is the 15th Annual Free Comic Book Day event held at G-Mart Comic Books at 205 N Market St in Downtown Champaign, from noon until 5 p.m.
We’ll be giving away specially produced comics for free to any and all who come to our event. There will be free comics for readers of all ages. There is no purchase necessary.
Come in costume for even more free stuff. Cosplayers are welcome and encouraged. Members of the Star Wars 501st Legion will be attending in various Star Wars costumes. Come get your picture taken with Darth Vader!
G-Mart will also have discount sales on almost all merchandise in stock. If you’ve been waiting to buy a hardcover omnibus, super-hero action figure or tee-shirt, Free Comic Book Day is the only day G-Mart will put these items on sale.
