I love to read, but sometimes I find myself getting stuck in a pattern of reading the same authors or genres too often. So I was super excited to find a couple of book match programs to help me find some new titles. The Ike Residence Hall Library has a program to match you to new books. You fill out an online form with a few books you have enjoyed and they will send you 3 recommendations. For non-university students or staff, the Champaign Public Library has a similar form that goes a bit more in depth, to help you find the perfect suggestions, based on your answers and previous reads. They ask questions about genre’s, topics, and formats that will help them pick a good selection of book options to send. Looks like my to-read pile is about to get a little bit bigger.
